protection in between waxing / after washing ?

Crystal Mist contains carnauba & will replenish some protection for you. However, the best products I've used as "booster" waxes are Optimum Car Wax & Chemical Guy's InstaWax. Both products are similar,apply like QD's & provide lasting protection.

Sonus Acrylic Glanz was purpose-built for this task assuming you are a Klasse user.
Pinn Crystal Mist and 1Grand's QD are both loaded with carnauba if that's your preference.

Going from stuff I've used...
Gliptone's Carnauba Body Gloss has lasted about 2-3 weeks on an outdoor kept Audi I wash. Gives a great look, slickness, and is easy as pie to use.
Optimum Car Wax is also great. This stuff will last about 3 months and is just as easy as a QD to use.
I just recieved some Sonus Carnauba Mist in and heard great things about this over wax. If so, this will be my wax QD and a mix of OCW, CK QS, and NXT Speed Detailer will be the touchups for sealants.

Haven't heard of that. Lots of reviews on WAUD (wax as u dry) but nothing on clogging MF.

If you want to use a booster between waxing, I suggest using Collinite's Insulator Wax (IW). I apply it on my drying MF towel, and dry my car, adding a dime to my MF per panel. Then, I buff it off quite easily too. It's like drying your car 'twice' per car wash.
It's not as convenient as quick detailing, nor as quick, but it will booster your wax, and not only that, the booster wax will stay on for a very long time. I mean, it is IW!!
I use Collinite 476 as my base wax. And my car has not been fully waxed for over a 2 months now. I've just been booster waxing it with IW about once a week. I live in New England and it has rained torrentially for the last 3 days. Beads like crazy still. In fact, the last time I actually boosted the wax was about 2 weeks ago. IW lasts for months, almost as much as 476.
