Products that do well in full sun

Unfortunately, I don't have a garage large enough to fit my car AND give me room to work on it at the same time. I also don't have any shade on my driveway during the day. I try to work early or late in the afternoon. Unfortunately, I often have to work in full sun.

Which products in the categories below will do well in full sun? To clarify, which ones can handle being worked with (polish) or applied in full sun.

  1. Polish - XMT line says it works in full sun...anyone try it in full sun? I used DACP and it dusted up instantly.
  2. Wax - I used NXT with a foam pad on a PC...seemed OK but needed alot to lay a thin layer.
  3. Sealant - I have no experience with these but plan on getting Klasse AIO and SG. How are they in sun.
  4. Quick Detailer - Meg's Last Touch, Optimum No Rinse, DP 4 in 1?
  5. Spray Wax - only used NXT spray wax so far but that was late in the day in shade.
  6. Trim Dressings - I've used Hyper Dressing but it seems to streak. I might try Armor Again...haven't used it in years.
  7. Glass Cleaner - Stoner's seems to dry very quick, Meg's Glass Cleaner Concentrate seemed to have more working time but streaked a little in full sun.

1) Polishes. Either Poorboys SSR's or Optimum's. Or both.

2) Wax: Poorboys Nattys, Clearkote Carnauba, OCW.

3) Poorboys EX or EX-P.

4) Spray & Gloss, Clearkote Quikshine.

5) Opt Car Wax

6) Poorboys Natural Look

7) No idea.

As you can see most poorboys products are sun friendly. Optimum polishes are also good in the sun as are Clearkote glazes, polishes, and waxes. Cheers.

I find Opt to be even better than the SSR's in the sun. Like the SSR's they aren't as effective, however even in full sun you don't get much dust at all. In a bind they're probably what I'd use.
