Products for protecting rear deck

Any recommendations on what to use to protect the rear deck (interior, under rear window) from UV rays? Mine appears to be covered in a carpet like substance. Do carpet cleaners offer any protection?

If you can take it out I would, otherwise mask it off and either Scotchguard it or use 303's Hi-Tech Fabric Protector. I have had nice results with both, but I prefer the 303. I emphasize greatly masking everything off as they will harden on surfaces you don't want them to (IE: windows). It is a PITA to remove once dried.



This stuff helped greatly with fading and stain/water repellency.
