Product Review: Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant

Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant, also known as "WETS" or "ETS", is a hyper-concentrated exterior trim sealant. This unique formula features the latest in breakthrough polymer technology to restore, enhance, and protect all exterior trim. Unlike other exterior trim products that only temporarily "restore" the trim and simply wash away when wet, Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant is extremely durable and will last wash after wash. Not only will it effectively restore, enhance, and protect exterior plastic, rubber, and vinyl surfaces, but it will also work as a sealant for various types of exterior trim including wheels and chrome trim. Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant bonds to chrome wheels, bumpers, and other trim to prevent corrosion. Not only will it protect your wheels and trim, but it will also make future cleaning much easier because it leaves a super slick surface. You can also use it on your tires as a durable tire dressing that will last through rain and repeated washes.

Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant is available in 4oz, 8oz, and 16oz sizes. It's hyper-concentrated, so a little bit of product goes a long way. However, I would recommend getting at least the 8oz because after you see how well this stuff works, you will be volunteering to restore the exterior trim on every vehicle you see. :rockon

Just like every other car, SUV, and truck on the road these days, plastic is a common piece of trim featured on the exterior. Just like the paint, it needs to be cared for to maintain its appearance. The plastic exterior trim on this particular Tahoe has seen various trim restore products over the years with very little to no success, but it has never seen Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant.

Check out how dry and faded the plastic trim is on the rear bumper.

Have no fear, Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant is here! After putting down a tape line to show the dramatic before and after difference, Wolfgang ETS was applied using a foam applicator. In my experience, a foam applicator works much better for this product than a microfiber or terry applicator.

A little bit goes a long way so use it sparingly!

Can you take a guess which side has been restored? ;)

No longer is the trim dry and faded. The appearance is not only enhanced, but the trim is now protected for several months.

Give your vehicle's delicate plastic, vinyl, and rubber exterior trim the protection it deserves with Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant. :rockon

thank you for the review. this product has been on my mind. as luck would have it, i dont have alot of plastic trim, a good thing! but would like to try this on what i have.

Thanks for the review. It is definitely giving UTTG a run for its money as Adam has stated.
Do you anticipate ETS to be more durable and last longer than UTTG? The reason I ask is UTTG seems to be cheaper per oz for the full sized bottles. But with ETS you can purchase smaller amounts at a time if total cost is a factor at the time of purchase.

I guess you will have to trade in your car and buy something with more trim! :rofl:rockon

:lmfao one of my least favorite detailing items. doing trim dressing. next to glass. :wall coming from a fj cruiser. that thing was plastered with trim! now i just have 4 mud flaps, the front valance and some trim on the rear bumper. oddly enough i have been using eagle one trim gel with some good results. but at some point i would like to try the wolfgang. plus i like the fact it can seal metal.

Remember what I told you guys about making sure you get the larger bottle because this stuff is so awesome? A co-worker of mine just recently picked up a Ford Expedition EL, aka a school bus. After seeing how faded and discolored the trim was, I couldn't resist restoring it with Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant. :rockon

Look how dull, faded, and discolored the plastic trim is on the rear bumper.

When you pick up with the Wolfgang make sure to do a comparison. :bigups
I have a small spot in my heart of the FJ Cruisers and have thought, on more than 15 occasions of picking one up. Did you like it?!

I use this as my tire dressing and it seems to last around 2 to 3 weeks on the tires. also you can layer it to get differnt looks. now i just need to make another order.
