ProChem All Fiber Rinse

I used ProChem's All Fiber Rinse for the first time this weekend and was really impressed. I started out by mixing a couple of ounces with a gallon of water and putting some in my Bissell LGM and did the carpet in my ride.

I had cleaned the carpet a month ago with a regular carpet cleaner and there weren't any spots or stains, just the dirty water and salt from my boots from all the snow and ice sitting in the rubber all weather mats.

The All Fiber Rinse made short work of that and I extracted just as much of the dirt as before when using a cleaner. The carper fibers seem to look more "alive" and it was very clean.

Excited I thought I used some on the carpets in the house with my Bissell Proheat 2X. I cleaned the carpets with a Traffic Lane Cleaner then dumped that solution from the tank, rinsed it out, then added some of the All Fiber Rinse I had mixed up earlier.

The results were the same, in that it did leave the fibers looking more alive and the carpet seemed brighter. It also pulled up more or the residual soap then just rinsing with water but I did notice a lot of foaming in the recovery tank. I'm not sure why that is as it wasn't the case with the Little Green Machine.

All in all it's a very good product. A gallon only cost me a little over $18.00 and shipping was not only reasonable but very fast. My order arrived in two days.

It comes with a variety of mixing instructions depending on your machine type and/or use and I think it's a nice little entry into my arsenal.

Thanks for reminding me of this product. I have some automotive carpets to clean soon. I want to make sure that the least amount of soap residue remains to prevent future soiling. Until now, I have used vinegar in my rinse water. This product reads as though it just might be a better option. I spray my rinse water with a pump up sprayer, brush lightly and then my wet/dry vac. I'll check with my local JonDon storefront and see if they think All Fiber Rinse will work with that application process.

If they don't carry that, I buy Matrix All-Fibre Rinse from JonDon and I'm happy with the results. Sounds like a simlar product.

Thank you for the recommendation.:xyxthumbs

Update. Ran over to JonDon this afternoon and picked up a gallon of the Matrix All Fiber Rinse. According to the rep the product is very similar to the Prochem product. I did one small section of the carpet on a vehicle I'm working on. It seemed to work as advertised. Picked up more dirty water and though not completely dry the carpet looked "fresher". Will check tomorrow to see if the fabric is any softer, and if any stains wicked to the surface. Thus far I'm satisfied. I'm kicking myself for not picking up one of their TLCs, but this location isn't too far out of my way.

I use the same thing. There's a Jon Don not too far from my and the Matrix All-Fiber Rinse does a great job.

For TLC's, the JonDon sells a Matrix Grand Slam which I find effective on nasty auto carpets.

That product seems to get a fair share of favorable reviews. It is definitely on the short list of products to discuss with the JonDon rep.

I'm sure Morbid will provide his source, but I'll add JonDon to the list. I walked out with a catalog yesterday. The cover makes note of their 30th anniversary, so they must be doing something right. Toll free 800.556.6366. Unfortunately, none of the 10 locatios listed are in the state of MI.

I don't know about other JonDon distribution centers, but I order from Atlanta GA and it sometimes arrives the NEXT DAY if I order early with just standard shipping UPS ground. I know I'm only a few hours away up the interstate, but they delivery FAST for me.

I ordered it from ProChem themselves on the website. I wasn't charged any sales tax and the price/cost of shipping wasn't any more expensive or cheaper than getting it from one of the suppliers I found selling it on the web.

They will drop ship your order from the nearest distributor they have to you. Mine came from PA as was here in two days. That's pretty snappy for UPS Ground.

The Gallon Jug I got list different mixing ratios depending if your using it in a portable extractor (1 or 2 oz per gal of water) or in a truck mounted machine (I forget that one) and if using it as a spray rinse like Mr. Clean does (4 to 6 oz per gal of water).

A little goes a long way so a Gallon Jug should hold me for awhile. I'm glad someone found my post useful. I hated leaving soap in the carpet but didn't want to over wet it trying to get it all out.

Which Jon-Don you guys talking about? I see here a Jon-Don that sells ProChem All Fiber Rinse as well as other ProChem supplies.

When my current supply is used up I might wanna try me some of that Prochem Ultrapac TLC.

MorBid, that is the Jon-Don I'm referring to. They have a local storefront in my local area.

This is the specific product I purchased. You might notice the similarity in product description and the associated current (sale price) cost savings.

Fantastic.. thanks for the link! I had a rinse agent that was given to me but ran out,...

MotorCity your welcome.

Mr. Clean I see what your talking about. I'm not sure what the difference is between Matrix's product line and ProChem other than the price.
