probably not worth looking at.....

its a green accord with more scratches and door marks than I cared to count. The owner just bought it and wanted it cleaned up. the whole thing was covered in holograms.... the reason its probably not worth looking at is the sun wanted to dissapear for my after Shots! I did manage to get in a semi (before pc and klasse)finished hood shot before the clouds rolled in.

process was:

optimum compound at 3000 rmp on the defects (pretty much the whole car) with a yellow cutting pad

optimum polish at 1500 then 600 with a black finish pad

then optimum polish with a quick pass on speed 4 with a white pad just to make sure no holograms were left.

topped with AIO

the smudge is just some leftover aio

Yeah, that's a great job and well worth submitting. I always appreciate jobs on beater cars like that, shows just how much of an improvement you can do.

Yikes, 3000 rpms is scary-fast

Great work! Imagine if dealers actually had guys that could "detail" not just buff? He could have easily got more money for that car if he polished it.

I like life on the edge....there was just so many deep scratches, and optimum doesnt really seem that aggresive.

as far as a topper, He didnt really care that much, he didnt think it would even look as good as it did.

Thanks for the comments.

Great after shot of the hood! Wow! :bow

Before and afters can be tough, the sun angle changes, clouds come and go, etc. It makes it tough to get truly honest before and after comparisons. I don't know about you, but I really don't have time to set up lights and take a bunch of pics with each car. I wish I did though. Got to make a living though. ;)

Thats an amazing transformation!!! Some of the after shots almost make the car look black compared to the dull green it was before.

I would love to get a rotary, but have nothing to practice on and in I'm no way comfortable trying to learn on my car. I can live with the minor imperfections that the PC cant fix rather than burning the CC.
