PRO Power Acid Cleaner...advice needed

Hey everyone. I just recieved my PRO POWER Acid Cleaner today and plan on using tomorrow on a BMW 3 series wheels that look almost beyond helping.

I ordered this product b/c I remember it being discussed on here before...and people were using it on all types of wheels.

But I want to be cautious b/c the directions say only to use it on Chrome and Stainless Steel....but others said they were having no problems using the acid on clearcoat wheels as well.

Just making sure I can use this product without distroying this 2004 3-series' wheels!!

What should the dilution ratio be? Any advice would be appriciated.

I don't know from *that* product, but I'd be very careful using a strongly acidic product on aluminum wheels. I've used other products of this type and where there were breaches in the clear it etched/clouded the aluminum in a way that couldn't be repaired without complete refinishing.

Yeah, people here do it frequently, but I for one would only do it if I were prepared to eat the cost of refinishing the wheels.
