Just One More Coat
Steve,

Is PP made more for machine applications rather than hand?

I have used it in both but always find that the machine breaks it down better and inherently makes it easier to remove....yesterday my wife's car was parked by a sprinkler that made water spots all over the front of the car...it sat all day and was baked on!!!:wall

So I attacked the area with the PP just to get them cleaned up, will finish this weekend...but I did find using it by hand it hard to get the residue off...took some QD to finish IMO

Thanks!

that and it creates more heat and friction by hand :)

The I was correct that the machine creates more heat and breaks it down better than by hand...the cotton hand application would be the next best choice to using the machine.

either way a lot of heat can be generated, and most polishes do work best with speed and heat :)

What about using the cotton terry mitt over the wool pad with the machine? I tried it yesterday and really liked the result? Just a thought...

If thats true then why are there all these new foam pads designed to reduce heat??? Is it to stop the pads from gumming up?

that's pretty interesting :bigups

I think that most products either dry up or can't take the heat so companies are trying to make their pads reduce the heat to match products, i can also see some products gumming up the pads when they get too hot, but I've never had that problem with Pro Polish nor have I had it not be able to work as long as I wanted to. ;)
