Is it 2000psi on stream? If so, it will not feel like 2000psi at 30-40degree spread. I run my 1700 at 30degrees without a problem.

We've got a 2,000 PSI pressure washer that I've been thinking about using for the winter time. I tried it on my Saturn with a 30-40* spread (Not exactly sure what degree it is), and it worked great, but it's hard to say if it's reallt too strong or not. I don't think it is, but I could be wrong :noexpress

Just be careful not to get the spray nozzle too close to the paint.

I've seen a 1300 psi washer peel the paint right off a painted bumper. :(

To be honest, I only use mine for the wheel wells. I won't touch the paint with it.

A good quality power washer out performs any other kind of hose pipe and trigger spray gun.
My machine runs from 10 to 140 bar and is very powerfull ,you should not have problems or paint issues if you use your common sence late vehicles have strong paint .
You need to be mindfull of how you use it agreed if you have an old banger with rust or flaking paint beware.
If your mobile like me they are a must ,recently got the Kranzle 160 tst and I cant say enough about it having used cheap ones for years this is the mercedes of pressure washers.
