Pressure washer for mobile detailing

Clean Dean

Keep it clean !!!
I saw this electric model at my local janitorial supply for $850. It looked awesome !!! Built -in 50 hose reel, and the unit had a commercial quality feel to it. It weighed about 70 lbs, and has direct drive pump. Supposedly indestructible and a long life pump !!! I saw it selling on ebay for $759 w/ free shipping. Anyone own one? Or know where to buy at best price?

That looks like a real quality machine. I'd buy one if I had the $.

Just curious, but why are you in the market for a pressure washer? I thought you already had one. Did it poop out on you?

It reminds me of those cheap personal use ones that you can buy from walmart. For that money you can get 2800 psi 6.5 hp honda motor gas powered pressure washer, a reel for you hose And still have money left over for lunch. Which in my veiw would last longer and work better.

I also own the Honda 2800 w/ CAT pump, a Karcher 2600 PSI, and a Troy Bilt 3100 PSI unit (all with direct drive pumps) . I even owned a 3600 PSI Honda with a AV pump and a Simpson 3600 PSI hot water washer w/ a Beckett Burner. Needless to say I have not had the chance to operate this machine, but I know it obviously much better quality than any Walmart unit.

My point is I absolutely hate lugging around these larger washers and have had a few unfortunate incidents with the hot mufflers on these units. My van is already filled to capacity, and any space saved is a big plus. Also due to the size, weight, and the hose reel set-up of this unit it can only equate to faster and more efficient washing. Time is money.

I doubt you'll find it cheaper then what Don on Ebay has it for . I looked for a long time and the cheapest locally is $850 like you found it for. The only plus about buying local is service.

Was the model you looked at in person the 1150T or was it the 1120T like what is on Ebay ?

Although I wasn't looking at that nice of a unit I thought about getting an electric one for the shear reason of saving space. I figure I could just buy the extended warranty on one at home depot. If it craps out, i just bring it back!!!!

I have a 1400 and 1650 PSI Husky unit. They are lightweight and fit nicely into the back of my Ford lightning. Downside is they do not have a direct drive pump and will not work off a static source.

Hey guys is this Pressure Washer worth getting???? Excell 6.5 Hp Honda, 2800 PSI with CAT Pump (The one at home depot) 699.00$
Will it hold up to everyday use????? Also do i just hook it up to the water tank and thats it or do i need a special pump???

Yes. CAT pump is direct drive and one of the best. Downside is size and weight of the unit. Honda engines are bulletproof !!!

rollman,

Thanks. You were right about the model. It was the 1200T. Is there a significant diference between models?

Have you dealt w/ Don before?

I don't know if there is any difference in the 1120T & 1150T . I haven't bought anything from Don but I have communicated with him in the past about the pressure washer , he's good about getting back to you . I even want as far as to contact other buyers of the Kranzle and they all had good things to say about it .
