This job was only a 1-step correction)basic) exterior detail, and with Nissans clear being relatively hard I was only able to get a small amount of correction even when using M105/yellow polishing foam using the KBPCM. Luckily this car was very well maintained, so it only added to the cleanliness. Even though the customer was only paying for a 1-step correction I found myself fighting for that extra little bit of correction.

Man I wish I could tape half as good as you, nice color, great work, what speed did you run the pc on and how hard did you press against the paint?

Haha! Thanks, never thought someone would envy my taping skills! haha! I used it at speed 4 and moderate pressure for the first couple passes then lightening up.

I'm surprised you let someone mountain bike all over the hood after your detail.:faint:;)

Super slick detail though!!!

Did you get to detail that green Z in the background? It looks sick!

Looks great--awesome for a 1 step.

I'm a little confused by Nissan/Infinity clears. Some say they are hard to rock hard, some say they are soft :nixweiss.

Ive never came across a soft one so idk either.

Great detail Billy. The few Z's I have done corrections on were on the softer side of paint for me. Who knows.. Just yesterday, got done spending 18 man hours on a 2008 3 Series in Jet Black. Usually, TOO soft, this was was damn near Corvette hard. LOL Great job again man.
