I spent alot of time on this one, didnt plan on it though! haha! My friend James hit me up for a detail to get rid of the swirling and such that car had gotten over the years. This thing is in IMMACULATE shape for a car that is 13 years OLD!!! I had a little trouble with the holograms, because for some reason I didnt think to use my PO85r/blue pad for final step. I was trying to finish on Honda paint with 106ff/white and it just wasnt happening. Well I finally came on here to ask for support and got exactly just that! The car now looks fantastic and is swirl and hologram free!!! ok, ok on to the pics! :D

There will always be a warm spot in my heart for details like this that truly dot every I and cross every T. Very good work. The car looks great.

I've read before that NSX paint is stupid soft and a real PITA to work with. Awesome car though.

Looks great man! You have to post that up on EvoM! Probably the only car that can stick with almost the same design for over 10 years and still look good!

I think I did post it on EvoM, the mods deleted all my threads! The GTI I posted was a test to see if I would be banned for posting another car! haha!

Besides the S2K! ;) Came out in 1999 and still looks as good as the day it came out! although I am biased, I own and 07 s2k.. ;)

A true classic. I still turn my head every time I see an NSX. Great job!!

Question: Why are the plates different in the last two "pro" shots?

I just quoted a client on this identical car (2005 NSX) in the same color. WOW..the paint must be very soft if you got holograms with 106. I was thinking of using 106 with my Flex as a start. The swirling in this particular car is not too bad.

Any other tips???

Yes finish it off with 85rd (if you have it) and a blue pad. That's the only way Billy got holograms off the car. I believe I helped you with that one, huh? ;).

On honda's super soft clear, you just can't simply one step a car if you are trying to remove most (if not all) the swirls. Good luck!

It was very soft, but there were still a few deep RIDs that I could not remove even with IP/PFW, and yes you pretty much HAVE to finish with 85rd/blue to get the holograming back out of the car...

The socks are originally intended to save the fluids from spilling/overflowing. They just absorb any spills.

Those arent his real lisence plates... :D

That's what I figured, I've just never seen that before. Presumably keeps the lid clean too. Are those a commercially available item?
