Premium Custom Cord Control Clip - Review

I went out to the mailbox today to discover that I'd received my Cord Control Clip from Garry Dean. Perfect timing, too, as I was just getting started doing some polishing on a Mustang in the shop.

Following an afternoon with a clip on my shoulder (not to be confused with the chip on my shoulder!) I have to say, I'm impressed! It was nice being able to focus on buffing without thinking about where the cord was, and I really couldn't even feel that it was there after the first few minutes.

That said, I did have one problem in that I tended to forget it was there -- if I set the buffer down (and removed the cord from the clip) I would have to remind myself to pop the cord back into the clip when I started buffing again. Now that it's a part of my normal workflow, I think over time it'll become habitual to reach for it, but it takes some getting used to.

Overall I highly recommend picking one of these up -- pros and hobbyists alike will enjoy the improvement in comfort and increased level of focus they will experience. For the price, you can't go wrong! This is an essential buffing accessory; if you own a buffer, you should own a Premium Custom Cord Control Clip!

Thanks for the review Charlie.... This may be a better option then my PB MF apron with cord holders built in. It is a pain to use when you are picking up and putting down the machine a lot.

That apron is one of the reasons I needed to design this clip. The apron just doesn't work how it needs to. I have one. Besides, I just don't like to wear an apron.

Complete control of the cord with full range of motion. Yes sir, I'm proud of this clip.
