Preliminary Opinions of UPPS vs OCW

I bought both of these products to try. Really was looking for something easy to use that will provide some protection, cause i dont have time to give my car a full wax every wash. UPP is one of my favs and OCW has gotten such great reviews. Did half my hood with each!!! I found UPPS easier to apply. It takes a third of the time to buff it off compared to ocw. I preferred the looks of UPPS but very slighting. On my Jet Black 330i i found it to be wetter and have more clarity then the OCW. But its very hard to tell the difference. UPPS also smells like almonds or something like that. Durabilty i have no idea which is better and probably never will since i usually wax my car every few weeks. In the slickness department OCW won hands down! My personal opinion was UPPS was like a QD that required alittle extra time to buff off. Super easy! Sorry no pictures!!!!

I am amazed that UPPS can actually be easier to use than OCW! It would almost have to apply itself to be easier! :lol

Thanks for the review and initial impressions and update how the durability test turns out. :)

Scott, my impression is very similiar. UPPS clears out easier, but does not (intitially) feel as slick. I think the slickness tends to favor the Opt due to its Carnauba content.

Another impression is there very different products and its not real fair to compare. One is a Poly/Nuba blend, the other pure Poly. So theres going to be obvious differences.....
