Poxy dried and clumpy texture

Hi gang, I opened a new bottle of Poxy today to top my NS car.  I shook the bottle couldn't even get the Poxy to move in the bottle.  Gave it a stir with a screwdriver, still couldn't get it to blend.  If I scoop some out of the bottle, it does "melt" between my fingers and feels normal.

Its not cold day here is 18C so a nice mild day.

Can I use a liquid to loosen the Poxy up?

I read this thread http://www.autopia.org/forum/topic/132616-poxy-thickness/?hl=%2Bpoxy+%2Bthick but my texture is quite course looking.  Reminds of a face scrub.

Ideas?

Had similar issue, it applies and removes very easy. It is more like semi-paste sealant/wax than a liquid sealant/wax. I wouldn't mix it with anything, just scoop it out, spread on a pad and then apply it.

I think you are fine. Because of the consistency, I've seen POXY look that way a few times. And it's totally normal for it to be so thick that it doesn't shake. And down mix it with anything. I strongly suggest try it out. As long as it applies and removes you're fine. Just apply a super thin coat (by machine preferably) and you'll be good to go. Let us know if you have any more issues.

thanks guys.  i was worried the "harder" bits might marr the surface of my paint..  Sadly its super soft paint.

Sadly not great David.  I ended up having to put a few spritzes of HD Touch inot the bottle - I figured it would have the same carriers - it did work ok.  But, not as well as i expected.  i am worried the Touch might have hampered the bonding of of the Poxy.

Was there no way of dispensing the product out from the bottle without using something to loosen it? When you shook and squeezed the bottle did anything come out? POXY is certainly extra thick in consistency, but I've never seen it not able to be squeezed out?

As far as Touch goes, I really don't see it affecting the bonding. It might make the product get applied thinner though. Did it go on and off easy?
