i've been trying to post pics by copying my url and then pasteing it here but no luck. is there some other way to show my attempt at swirl free finishes...

Where are you hosting the pictures at?
You generally have to post the URL between image tags so it will look like this...
Or copy the address then use the picture icon (looks like a mountain with the sun behind it) on the top. Click the icon and paste the picture in the script that pops open.
