Possible post crash photo of Amelia Earhart

That photo "evidence" seems like a stretch. Just how many times has poor old Amelia Earhart been found over the last 80 years anyway? At least the Elvis sightings have stopped...

I recall years ago about finding the aircraft metal that supposedly had bolt holes that matched the aircraft. The History Channel and a few others have been know to take a 3 minute story and embellish into an hour with pre-history and post-history as padding. They would replay most content at least twice.

PA DETAILER- Ah, OK, copy that History Channel.

And yeah, sure...gotta be realistic about such stuff. But hey, still entertaining IMO. Better than a lot of the [stuff] on TV.

Setec Astronomy-Heh heh, shades of Kammler and Die Glocke, huh?

We`ll likely never know what actually happened to, but something like this coming out fills airtime and is interesting to talk about.

Anything to break up the all day marathons of pawn stars and American pickers on history channel. I have absolutely no idea why they have weekly all day marathons of these boring shows.

I stopped watching History channel because of these shows but I do like watching the "actual" history shows on demand. There is nothing reality about reality TV.
Its all scripted and edited to death before it actually hits broadcast.

Its crazy that they`re clearly popular enough to warrant running all day marathons. I`d rather see something about Egypt or the romans.

Yup same here, any day over that crap. Netflix history shows are pretty great as well. I just finished season 1 of Medici: Masters Of Florence and the Borgia series. Worth the watch.

Getting ready for the special at 9PM.

Well the photo was strong evidence. And a lot of evidence she was indeed a prisoner....

Seems "fishy" odd to me since Lindbergh was rescued by a Japanese Ship the next month off the coast of Japan.

Also she (Earhart) disappeared 5 days before Japan and China were at war. Let alone at war with the US. If I remember correctly during the war between China and Japan. The Japanese government Appologized and paid the U.S. government a large sum of money for "accidently" attacking a U.S. naval ship patrolling a Chinese river.

Plus, IIRC, Imperial Japan wasn`t a big fan of gender equality; a Heroic Woman didn`t exactly resonate with their culture at the time.
