porter power / velcro plate

I purchased a porter power orbital machine to polish my car. I was reading on this site http://www.guidetodetailing.com/articles.php?articleId=47



that many users change the plate and pads to velcro pads. My question is where on the internet or store can i buy some velcro plate and pads for my porter power 7424. It also mention something about counter weight to prevent the machive from shaking. Any information i would appreciate.

I have heard some people say the counter weight doesnt do anything and some will argue they help on vibration. Either way it will shake your hands a little

If you bought your PC and recieved the pad that comes with it you may not get good results. Everything I've read here shows that the pad is no good so you are on the right track by looking for the baking plate and pads.



I used the PC for the first time yesterday. I used the same kit I showed you and had a little bit of vibration but it was not unbearable. It is just something you have to get used to. The pads seemed to work great and I liked the way they felt.
