Porsche 997 *extensive restoration project* Atlanta Auto Detailing - cQuartz Finest - Clear Bra Installation - Full Interior Detail - much more...

Jean-Claude

Keeper of the beautiful
The new owner of this Porsche 997 was hunting for a local that could detail and restore his new Porsche to its former glory and decided to work with my shop, Detailed Designs Auto Spa on his baby. After an in-person consultation and many emails he decided to invest in a very extensive regimen. We ended up correcting his paint, filling rock chips + langka, clear bra on the front bumper, an extensive full interior detail, engine bay detail, cQuartz Finest, glass polished and coated, exterior vinyl/rubber coating, wheel-off detail and cQuartz Finest application and repairing a few problems. He originally was going to have the whole front protected with clear bra. But after it was left in our shop and we got started I had to suggest that he not spend that much covering the fenders and hood that were pelted with chips and rather he put that money towards a respray for those surfaces.

Engine bay received an air brush application of UTTG+. We were able to get a nice even coat on all hoses and vinyl bits...even the out of the way parts and all cracks and crevices.

I suggested that he replace the old lugs with something new and he was on top of it. He had new lugs drop shipped to the shop. By request, we reinstalled all lugs with anti-seize on the concern areas. Tq'd to spec of course.

We had about 50ish hours tied up in the project. I hope you all can enjoy the pictures as much as we did working on it.

I thoroughly enjoyed looking at every single picture. Stunning job!

Anyone that has ever taken the time to document and sort through pictures for the ones that tell the best story knows it's not a fun task. But hearing this makes me feel like the hard work has paid off. Thanks for expressing your appreciation. And thank you for your compliment.

Love the idea of airbrushing the UTTG....very cool

Ya, I've been doing that for a little bit of time now. It's not good in all applications of UTTG or any other dressing but it has its place and on an engine bay like this it's a no-brainer.
