Poorboys SSR1 & 2 vs. Optimum polish

Chadwick's Auto Detailing
Hello all. I'm curious if the OPT polish and or compound is as easy to remove from the paint after buffing as the Poorboys SSR's are. Thank you very much for your help!

They're close, but IMO not *as* easy as the SSR's. The optimum products seem to have more grab, where the SRR's just wipe off like nothing is there.

Thanks ebpcivici. Removing Menzerna residue scared me away from anything else but the SSRs. I'm just tired of the dusting they create.

Anyway, thanks for the reply, you answered my question.

Oh, yeah, I see you driving every once in a while and your car looks better and better every time I see it!!!

I agree with ebp, having used both ssr's and opt polishes, the optimum polish are a tad bit more difficult to remove, but not hard by any means. As ebp said, the towel just glides over the SSR reside like it wasnt even there.

I find the SSR range removal alot easier here, the Opt polish seems to leave an oily coating behind.

I agree. The OP left almost a greasy film behind that was a pain to remove, and took up a lot of towels. It may have been my misuse and not working the product in long enough, but so far, I much prefer the SSR line up. I have yet to try Menzerna, but SSRs do everything I need them to, they smell good, they're cheap, and they're user friendly.

I guess I'll chime in the other way. I find if you work OP long enough it's easy to remove, however that does take longer than the SSRs. The SSRs on the other hand flash quickly and work reasonably, but the dusting drove me crazy.

The SSRs might be slightly easier to remove than OP but the dusting from SSRs takes me more time to clean up, so I rather go with OP.
