I have gone from ssr2 with a yellow pad to pwc on a black car and it worked well.
I currently use ssr2 with a white pad and then follow with pwc with another white pad. That's what I love about ssr2, it's so easy to use and provides amazing results almost any way you use it.
I used an orange Propel pad with SSR2.5 yesterday on dark blue paint, and left very little micromarring from it. Following up with #80 on a green Propel pad took care of it. I would use a green pad with PwC.
Since your using a rotary I would start out with the least aggressive pad first . Its good to do this whether your using a PC or rotary . Better safe then sorry especialy when your using a rotary .
