I have been using S&W for a while and have not had any problems with it removing my finish.
You'll probably be removing more of your finish due to the friction of the wiping than the S&W.

No big deal, if carnub worn out? just reapply another layer of your fav LSP. That's what I had been doing all the time.
 
I have not had any issues with S&W removing carnuba or sealant LSPs. It is a great product.
 
I think Steve mentioned at one point that S&W will take off a little of your LSP since S&W is a cleaner. Since I find myself putting on a new coat of EX about once a month, it's not a problem for me. I've never seen it totally remove my LSP in two months, with about once a week use either.

Yeah, it's pretty safe to use. I haven't noticed it deteriorate the LSP much quicker than normal "wear & tear" does.
