Poorboys Enzyme cleaner test

I got this product shipped to me in relation to my other thread with the spilled milk. While I ended up not using it for that problem, I had a good test today for it!

Had to reschedule an inside/out detail due to weather and luckily got a call that I could still make work with a light rain (actually wasnt bad at all later in the day). In this case, my customers son spilled a protein shake in the back of his jeep. It was dried up, hardened and starting to smell. PERFECT! I needed a good test for this new product. On to the pictures

Upon arrival this is what I found. This picture is AFTER I vacuumed

Poorboys to the rescue!

I sprayed the entire area enough to let it soak down into the fabric. Product has kind of a baby powder scent to it, not chemical like at all. So thumbs up for no harsh fumes :bigups

After about a 10 minute dwell time I hit it with a brush to see how it was working. To my surprise the bulk of the stuff had softened up and scrubbing it easily removed it from the carpet fibers

My dynamic duo to get the now softened up mess out!

Heres the spot after hitting the area with the Mytee Tempo. I didnt steam it yet because there was so much to begin with, I didnt want to force any of it further into the carpeting. Total dwell time before extracting, 15 minutes. As you can see, this didnt get everything out here on the first try. With how much was caked on there, this was expected, especially since I didnt steam it first.

Sprayed a little more cleaner, allowed to dwell a good 5-10 minutes, steamed with the Daimer 1000 then extracted once more to get any remaining residue.

I probably should of gotten one more photo after everything had dried and it was back to looking normal, I just forgot after I had gotten everything else done (he had me detail the whole interior as well). Forgive the crappy cell phone pictures. Its all I have right now. I plan to get myself a good DSLR camera sometime over the summer. The overexposure from the flash always makes my pictures look rough :(

Another excellent product from Poorboys! There was no trace of smell afterwards and once the carpet dried it was back to normal. The spill is now just a memory. I will most definitely be buying this stuff once its released!

Glad you had a chance to give it a try and thank you fro the feedback ... any pictures today? How did it smell and look?

Unfortunately no. This guys house was a half hour away. I may follow up with him in a day or two to make sure everything is good but I wont be able to get pictures unless he has me come out to do more work for him
