Poorboys Detail - 2004 Chrysler Pacifica

Ok – This is a 2004 Pacifica that that is abused and just gets run through the automatic car washes. I tried to sell a complete detail to remove all the swirls and get the paint looking like new, but the customer just wanted it cleaned up. I was on a tight schedule for I had to go play soccer at 5:00. I started about 8:30am and finished right at 4:00 with a 15 minute lunch break.

I by no means was able to remove all the swirls and all the dried bugs on the front end. Without pictures, before and after of swirls to show you, I thought it cleaned up really nice. I thought I was using the most aggressive one step method (LC CCS white polishing and PB’s PP) that I have in my arsenal.

If you guys have any other suggestions on a good one step combo, mainly PB’s, I would like to know about it.

Pre treated wheels with PB’s APC and scrubbed with SS&S
Washed car, 2 bucket method, SS&S – (BS on hood and front bumper)
Ricardo clay w/ S&W 50/50 mix with water (Paint was real dirty even after a bath)
PC 7424
PB’s Pro Polish with LC CCS white polishing pad (spread 3 buffed 5)
2 coats of EXP – MF applicator dampened with water

Interior shop vac and Natural look dressing (no pictures)

I apologize for the lack of good pictures – but mind really was on getting to the soccer game on time.

Before pics (almost forgot about them) I started cleaning the wheels and tires and then remembered I forgot to take pictures.

I always enjoyed the lines of the Pacifica. Now that it is clean and shiny I enjoy it even more!!
