Poorboy`s World

Does it attract dust?
Does it have any self cleaning abilities?

I`m thinking about buying a bottle and trying it out on my winter beater.
As of now Polish Angel Cosmic V2 is the easiest product that I have ever used. I`m only on month 1 but it will be interesting to see how long it will last.

Ok sorry for the delay. 1st world problems. Driveway has been full of contractors. Finally getting the Master bath renovated.

Wanted to give you all an update.. So I only washed the hood.

1st pics are of the dirty hood after 3 weeks and and 1000+ miles. Miles consisted of multiple rain storms and Georgia summer heat. Dry pics plus beads and a front rim to show just how dirty it is.

And the finale is the post wash pics. Beading pics followed with the beads rolling off the hood. And the last picture is after flooding with a Gilmore nozzle.

I`m 2 weeks shy of one year. On my daily driver I have PA Master sealant which is one month old and IMHO there is no comparison in beading or self cleaning.

Disclaimer the vehicle is garage kept when not in use on trips or sitting at my wife`s job.

Interesting post since Poorboys has been on my radar recently. Seems most everyone likes their stuff. Thanks for the post. :)

I`ve been looking at their maintenance products mostly - cleaners. Really good prices. And they seem to consistently comes up on forums and even some youtube stuff, or maybe i`m just thinking that lol

I think i will picking up there bird waste remover and the shampoo. Probably even the pad cleaner since its so cheap.

Spray and Wipe and Bug Squash have been staples in my detailing arsenal since they both came out. Excellent products and budget friendly.

As you can see from my avatar, I’m a fan. I’ve always liked their laid back, no BS way of doing things. Kinda the Anti-CG.

Hi
Everyone .. yes, I will admit we have not been on any forums for quite a while. Yes, we added two great coatings SuperHydrophobic and Everlasting ... Super Hydrophobic for all smooth surfaces and Everlasting will be the last grainy Trim coating you will ever use.
We appreciate all the kind words and honest reports as we do use your feedback to move forward.
We have currently moved our warehouse up to North Carolina and transplanted Dwayne there too. He`s only a couple days in, but is loving the change of scenery with his cat. I am still here in Florida , Boca Raton and have a small showroom / office, and you are always welcome to come by and visit.
Thanks again to all and I will try to log in more often ;)

Hey Steve, tell us about this Everlasting trim coating. Back in the day I used some GTechnic C4 on my better half`s faded black trim, and afterwards it looked great! For a while, then it looked gray again. So I put some more C4 on and it didn`t restore, it stayed gray. The principal came on here or AGO and told me I had applied the coating too thick and it had absorbed moisture or something during the curing. Of course there was no way to get it off. I think it`s probably worn off by now...since it`s been 10 years or something.

Since then I have been reluctant to use any of these ceramic trim coatings. Tell us about yours. If you want to delegate this product support question to the cat, I will understand.

I`m a big fan of Poorboys!

Any chance you`ll be coming out with a rinseless wash?

Something with a light and pleasant scent....

Basically we have a coating that permeates into the plastic, restores, the color and locks it in. Our 2003 GMC van was one of the first test subjects. The bumper turned grey and for years we used Trim Restorer as a maintenance, but the move to Florida 8 years ago, put an end to even maintenance. It was just grey and looking shot. We did an area without any prep just to see what it looked like. It looked new, but again so many other products could do the same. Then we had a customer we met at a local show come over with a Chevy Avalanche. This was a learning situation .. The color came came great, but we learned that the plastic has a pattern into it that almost looked like a polisher had hit it. It was black again but exaggerated the pattern in the plastic .. Months went by and no change. Dwayne even went so far as to take some polish and rub it into the bumper .. it faded the black, but not even near the previous grey it had been .. it looks like someone tried polishing the black plastic ..lol ...we also did cowls, rocker trim and numerous other tests and none of them have failed and it`s been abou 4 years ... I have seen a reduction in intensity as years pass, (if you redo a section), but no grey ... Hope that helps .. really simple to use and yes, I`ve done it in the sun .. flash time is almost immediate and care should be used in an open air area .. just sayin ;)

Spray and Wipe works better and is easier with no buckets and no mess .. yes a few extra microfibers used but no drips and can be done any time any place
