Recently, my co-worker thought it would be fun to leave his filthy Chevy Volt with me for a polishing, while he drove his wife (and mother-in-law) out to Napa Valley for some wine tasting and golf. yay.
As I was doing the decon on the Volt, he sends me text asking for status as well as letting me know he wants me to remove bugs from his Porsche. He sent me some pics, and I was like, whoa. I`ve driven various parts of California, and haven`t had issues like that. These are rather mellow bugs, I`m sure, as compared to what some of you guys get out in Florida, and other states.
At any rate, he didn`t think his usual car wash spot would get the bugs out. Beats me, but I thought that was part of a wash? Anyway, the following Monday comes and he brings the Porsche to work. We head over to the local coin-op, and I use Bug Squash in conjunction with the very neat Mesh Bug MF from Poorboy`s World. Good stuff. I think the owner was surprised. Why? Cuz he looked and looked, and scratched his head and started taking pics! Weird.
I`ve used this stuff before, but not on anything this "bad." (quotes intentional, as I`m sure some have seen much worse).
Saturating the areas with the Bug Squash, followed by high pressure soap/rinse, then more BS for the bugs that didn`t come off, wiped with the Mesh MF (gently) and those suckers were gone. Great combo. Thanks Poorboy`s for making these products
