I`ll start by saying I`m sorry to Steve and Dwayne for taking so long to post this. I actually used Typhoon once before but my wife folded my towels and I really didn`t know which was which.
First I`ll start by saying that I did a couple of very small loads, perhaps a half dozen or so of cheap yellow Microfibers and junk bin terry towels in seperate loads. That said, I used far less Typhoon than would be required to do a load of 25 towels. I used perhaps 3/4 oz. on each of these loads.
The consistancy is quite thick perhaps a bit thicker than 3D`s Towel Clean Microfiber wash. I ended up using roughly the same amount of soap as I do when using 3D`s product. The scent was pleasant but I don`t know that I can identify it. It reminded me of the soap that kids use to blow bubbles.
These towels were soiled with a tire cleaner, dressing and wheel well grime, they were quite dirty with some nasty stuff but it was not oily. I did nothing special just a regular wash and dry. I will say that the towel on the left is one that I normally would have just pitched in the trash but decided to see how Typhoon would work on something truly dirty. I`ll let you folks be the judge of how these towels turned out. I believe the yellow microfiber came out a bit softer than it was when I began to use it today. There was zero residue in the machine. I felt that the detergent rinsed out very clean. All in all I thought it to be a very competent soap. Who knows? With a second wash these may have gotten very clean. These towels are ones I`d use on tire`s or fender wells so no second wash. Priced right this product will no doubt be another winner for Poorboy`s.
