Hello Everyone! As if I wasnted exhausted enough from yesterdays jeep I had another FULL detail today. It belonged to a nieghbor of mine. They wanted it preped to sell. It was overall in nice condition. The swirls were what i might call medium. I usually deal with bad to miserable swirls to give you an idea. The interior was also very good, just mainly dust and light deposits.

This was kind of cool its an ssei supercharged edition. It really shoud be the SSOP.. aka ss orange peel.. you will see what im talking about in the pics.

Vacuum Shop Vac
Meguiars APC 10:1 on carpets then extracted with shop vac
VRT on vinyl
4* leather conditioner on leather

Meguiars APC 10:1 (really need to mix up a stronger batch)
Meguiars NXT wash agitated with meguiars VA tire brush
Meguiars Hyper dressing 2.5:1 on all vinyl and rubber
OCW on all painted areas

Tires: Meguiars APC 10:1 agitated with meguiars VA tire brush, dressed with hyper dressing 2.5:1

Wheels: Meguiars Wheel Brightener 3:1 agitated with meguiars spoke brush and meguiars VA wheelface brush, NXT wash with meguiars VA wheelface brush. OCW to seal

WheelWells: MEguiars APC 10:1 agitated with meguiars VA tire brush, dressed with hyper dressing 2.5:1

#80 via LC polishing pad @1250 rpm on all non-curvy areas
#80 via LC polishing pad ,pc speed 6 on all tight/curvey areas
Poorboys EX, let haze for 30 minutes
touchups with meguiars last touch ds

windows cleaned with hi temp window conc. 10:1
doorjambs got meguiars apc 10:1 , OCW

I think i redeemed myself from the poor jeep pics yesterday.. sorry about no sun but i wanted the the colorful flowers in the pic.

woob - ya thats my dropoff detail bag. I keep ds, apc, hyper dressing, towels, digi cam etc. in there. I can always touch up the car when i get to the destination which is nice!

You can put 2 PC's in there along with pads & product also. If it was bigger and waterproof I'd be happy.

You bet you did, one way or the other.
Most car buyers still go by some strange "feeling" about a car. You helped create that feeling. They'll either get a better price, or sell it faster. Either way, it's $$ in their pocket (and yours).
 
That's a very nice looking detail, especially the interior and engine bay. I had to look at that one twice. Well done!

Great write up too. I've never had much luck with Meg's polishes, and you seem to have them dialed in.
 
I wouldnt say i am diled in with megs products but they have given me the best overall results via rotary. I am going to give optimum a second chance here. I find that alot of the megs polishes have fillers so i do alot of IPA swipes. Thanks for the comments!
