Polishing Wheels????

My wheels are silver painted with a clearcoat (stock VW wheels). To polish them I've just been using a cut up orange Buff & Shine pad with UNO, but it's a PIA and very time consuming.

The wheels are a 10 spoke design with plenty of room between the spokes to get my hand between them for washing so I'm wondering it the Megs Foam Wheel Cone or the Mothers Power Cone or Mini Ball might work? Anyone have experience with these polishing cones??

I have the blue cone and the yellow cones of Mothers. Use them all the time. Plus, I have some small cotton/felt cones and wheels that I use on my small air grinders.

Thanks Ron!! Did you mean the yellow cone from MEGS?? All the Mothers products (mini Ball and Cone) are red. I've seen the yellow cone from Megs, but can't find any reference to the Blue Cone on their website.

Seems like the Megs cones would work better as they are sold foam where the Mothers cone is small pieces of red foam packed closely together.

The yellow one comes with the Power Metal polish.

I have used both Mequiar's and Mothers, personally, found the Mother's to hold up longer.
