well i had a semi-truck company call me today and ask if i could polish up their wheels...theres about 8 trucks. i had asked what kind of wheels they were and they said they are polished aluminum. now im goin to take a look at them tomorrow and see how dirty they are but before i go i was just wondering what you guys feel products wise i should use? ill attach pics tomorrow but just want to get a head start or hear your opinions on what products will work well. thanks

A polishing ball will be your best friend- Flitz or Mothers. Use a corded drill with one of those and you'll be good to go. As for polishes... not too sure what you'd want to use. Personally, I use Mothers Power Metal on the PowerBall and then apply some Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish to the wheel itself and then polish it out. The liquid polish isn't that great alone, but using both together with the powerball did a great job.

Mother’s Polishing Ball (both large and small) does wonders - quick, easy, and very, very well. You can use various combinations too including 1Z MP Pro, AIO, 215, VM, and NXT MP. The end result is much better and faster than what I can accomplish by hand :xyxthumbs

I did aluminum semi wheels last week with the power ball and it worked fantastic. I followed up with some AIO and they blinged. Ohhhh, 24.5 in wheels!!!!!!!!! :D

Our trucking company uses Busch's Super Shine Aluminum Polish. It is a pink liquid and very runny. We use a buffer with a 12 inch sheep's wool type pad(truck wheels are big). I think the powerball would be great as a touch up. If the wheels are really oxidized you may have to first clean them with acid to cut down on you time involved. Other areas that we polish are the fuel tank and battery box. We have tried all types of polishes and Busch's gives the best shine with the least amount of errort.
