Polishing New Paint Job

My c5 Corvette was repainted Black this summer, and wetsanded.......looks very good, much better than factory GM since it was wetsanded and GM paint has tons of orange peel, BUT the paint does seem a little flat. Prior to the new paint my OEM paint had great gloss as I used Menzerna and Zaino on it religiously. I used Menzerna SIP to remove the swirls and Zaino ZPC for final polishing on the old paint, and it came out amazing.

Since I got the newly painted car back, I only clayed it and applied Zaino Z2 and clear seal. I think I need to give it a good polish now to really bring out the luster and shine. Should I polish it with Menzerna Final Polish or Zaino ZPC with a White Pad. I would like to use the Zaino Z2 as the paint sealant.

I'm just not sure what to use in this situation, considering I my paint does not really have imperfections like swirls, orange peel, etc.

Thanks in Adavance.....

Hard to say without seeing it, but HD Polish or PO85RD are good choices. ZPC doesn't finish down that nicely (and it dusts like crazy).

Exactly. You can bet your bottom dollar that a light polishing is gonna make a very nice improvement regardless of how it looks now.

Thanks guys....

Dave you're right. My old GM paint was amazing cuz I worked it with Menzerna, and then finished it with ZPC and a white pad. It really had a deep luster. I know Menzerna FP is great, but since I plan on sealing with Zaino, I thought the ZPC would be better in this case. I have heard that many prefer ZPC for finishing....even though its claimed to be more of a paint cleaner/swirl remover.
