Polish & Wax

OK, I know this will be very subjective, but I would like to know which polishes and waxes are your favorites. Keep in mind, my objective is not which product lasts the longest, but which ones have the best shine. My car is not a daily driver and I probably wax the car (almost) as much as I drive it. I would like to know which combinations you guys/gals are using and any special techniques or application methods are working best for you. Looking forward to hearing from ya, THANKS
 
Polishes in descending order of abrasiveness:

3M Finese-It

3M SMR

3M Perfect-It

P21S GEPC & Platinum UPP-C

3M IHG



Sealants in no particular order:

Zaino

Platinum

Poorboy’s EX



Carnaubas in no particular order:

P21S/S100 paste

Souverän paste

Souverän liquid

I have been using Klasse AIO/HGSG or AIO/Blackfire on my Z. Very happy with both. Right now I have AIO with about 6 coats of Klasse HGSG on top. It is not my daily driver either and when I do drive it, I always use my cover. I also like the AIO/Blackfire combo because I feel that you don't need to layer as many coats of Blackfire (one or two coats). If you hear form the Zanioist they will talk about 10-20 coats. I haven't tried Zanio but may in the future because it did rate 1st in the Guru report. I just can't justify the amount of time it would take to put that much wax on. Also there have been comments that Zanio that heavy makes the body look like it's molded out of plastic. Klasse and Blackfire are both easy on/off and should last 6-8 months or more. Also they don't have the residue which discolors molding. I have even added a small amount of Blackfire to my FI quick detail spray for an additional light wax during the daily cleaning.

ZGone - I am using almost the same setup as you, Klasse and Platinum, BF and Platinum are just about the same.



I find that the Klasse will deepen my red car's paint and last much longer than Platinum however; the shine of Platinum can not be beaten by Klasse even those it doesn't last as long.



What do you think? Do you feel my findings are known amoung most Klasse/BK (or Platinum) users?
