Polish Today, Wax Tomorrow

I would like to Polish my car on Friday, drive 100 miles on Saturday, wash it again, seal and wax it. Will I still get the same results as if I did all the steps at one time in the same day.
 
What's Firday? just kidding. :nana:



It will be fine as long as you wash it well. Might want to dawn wash it or use a soap without any enhancements that could prevent proper bonding.

Why not seal it after polishing on Friday? If you don't seal it, then your paint is bare to bugs and such on the drive as well as the wash after it's dirty. It will only take an extra half hour. Then after the trip it will be easier to wash, and then you can add more sealant, or wax.
 
I wouldn't do it - 100 miles with an unprotected finish is asking for some trouble. Might better wait to polish when you have the time to follow-up with an LSP.
