I got a hold of a Cosmic Spritz 2.0 bottle last week. Now, looks can be subjective and I`ve been using Kamikaze Over Coat Liquid for the last 18 months (used Cosmic Spritz prior to that) so take this for what it may (or may not) be worth:
On my Agate Grey Metallic Cayman, I *really* like the Cosmic Spritz 2.0. It seems to really bring out the metallic in the sunlight and has a very pleasing, glassy look to it. It hasn`t rained yet so I don`t know how it does (but imagine water behavior will be great). I really *didn`t* want to like it but the looks seem truly different (in a good way) to me. I can`t really remember the previous Cosmic Spritz looking this good but it has been a while.
I believe the Kami Over Coat will hold an edge in overall functionality but the Cosmic Spritz 2.0 has captured my eye. We have a shipment incoming en route and I`m afraid I`ll have to buy a bottle unless the performance over the next few weeks just falls off of a cliff. Just when I think I`m settled on something (Over Coat) someone new shows up at the dance *sigh*
Update: 2 hours after I wrote that it we had a significant downpour…hooray!
Beads are nice, Over Coat has slight advantage in contact angle so those beads look a bit more ‘alien leprosy-like’ but these are still nice:
Beads were really hustling off of hood on drive home, very impressive velocity.
Not bad, not bad at all…quite nice all told with the accentuated metallic in the sun being the overall highlight.
