I have a Mitsubishi Evolution, I removed the badges and the wing the other day so I polished / compounded the trunk to remove the ghosting...I used a 5.5 orange pad with Optimum Compound and it cleaned everything up nicely but I could see micro marring, I guess due to how many passes/pressure I used? So anyway, I used a 6.5 in white pad with Optimum Polish and I could still see micro marring, although it was reduced...thinking I need to follow up with something even softer since my paint seems to mar pretty easily, wondering which one of these would be better for me...not looking to go insane on the "jeweling" just looking for something a little finer to reduce micro marring on softer paints.
