PO203S and M205

The M105/M205 combo I know is very popular, but what about when you don’t need the aggressive power of M105. Would Menzerna Power Finish PO203S be a little less powerful and a possible substitute for m105? I know people that then finish up using P0203S with P085RD, but instead would it be ok to keep with M205? So to get to the point do you think a combo of P0203S and then M205 would work well, or be overkill, etc.?

PO203 is definitely not a replacement for M105. That being said, it is perfectly adequate for the majority of lightly/moderately swirled cars. It polishes and finishes nicely enough with an LC orange/teal/white pad, but can be further finished with a finishing pad. M205 is a great finishing polish and can definitely be used subsequently after PO203.

M105 is not always needed, so it would only be natural to include a mid grade polish for those less serious jobs.

In short, PO203 + M205 make a great combo.

You could always use a less aggressive pad with M105 and then only work it as long as you need to.

M105 white LC or Megs W8702 pad.

M205 black LC

PO203S just seems to take forever to break down IMO.
