Hi, Just wonderig if anyone can tell me how to do plumbing from my pressure wash..to my water tank. I drilled two holes on the bottom left corner already on my water tank..one for my bypass and the other which my main water source. I bought a 6.5 briggs and stratton pressure washer with built on hose reel and pump. I also got the filter with it. I have all the hoses and couplings and everything but want to make sure everything is done right. Ive been searching for old forums and pics. about setting this up but their is nothing on this. Could anyone give some advice and guidence, this would be most helpful.

You should've probably followed up to this thread but ah well... . AFAIK, you have a 1" hose connected to your pumps lower connection and a .5" hose connected the upper which blow air back into the tank. I have a third hose on the other side with a PVC ball valve for filling buckets etc. Looky the picture:

Hey thanks!! Sorry about not replying to the old one..im still learning how to navigate through these forums. That set up you have looks great! Especially with that diamond plating you got layed down. I noticed the electrical tubing you had running from your generator looks like down to the floor and back up to somwhere else. What is that? I finally got it all hooked up today after running to home depot and tractor supply for fittings. Thanks for being kind enough to help me out of the 50 something that viewed my thread. Someone moved this thread out of the new postings...i guess my question wasnt good enough for all the big shots here. For all the veterans here " be nice to all the newcomers will ya".

Thanks a bunch AMDin93103!

I can't speak for AMD but I think what you are referring to is actually flexible exhaust hose from the generator and pressure washer. It looks like he has run them out the floor of the trailer to reduce noise.

Yes Squirtgun, that is an exhaust running off both my PW and Generator. They meet just before they exit through the floor where they continue with a piece of tubing for about 16" to clear the axle. Reduces noise and heat but more importantly the fumes that would be flooding the cargo area during use. To get all the controls accessible I had to point the exits in towards the cabin. For more pictures go to my website and look at the photo-blog page, scroll to the bottom. A little has changed in the van since the pics and more is going to very soon as I will be adding water reclamation equipment, somewhere. Thats the reason for 5200 watts.

AMD, your my role model!!! Man, that's a awesome set up! Im going to have to steal that idea from you with the muffler thing. I was going to put the diamond plate in my van on top of the plywood i used for a skid to mount everything on. Its very expensive them diamond plates! I love the steel frame that you built for your p.w. and geny. As soon as i get everything in my van i snap some pics for ya. What kind of tubing for the muffler is that your using, and do i have to particularly go to a muffler specialist to get it? I have the same pressure washer you have i think (Intek Pro 206 by briggs and stratton)? It looks like it. If so any problems with yours cause i just got mine. Also your generator how do you like Yamaha instead of Honda?, looks expensive! Sorry for the barage of questions, im trying to learn as much as i can.

Diamond plate: $300
Box Frame/Tank Frame: $550
Muffler: $275 (uses 1.5" Flex)

The generator is great. Honda makes a great unit but with all my other equipment I could not justify the expenditure. Yamaha has very good motors and they are much cheaper per useable watt. I paid $1500 shipped and I have had no problems in 18 hours. Bought from this place, you want the YG series. Same pressure washer, 206. RightLook about four months ago. No problems with that either. The choke has to be one notch towards full when starting. If you have any questions call and ask for John the tech. Extremely helpful guy and you can tell he loves his job. Make sure you are sure where that muffler is going when you cut the hole. Also, that thing gets damned hot. HTH.
