Please put together a proper detail for me…

I hope to …if my products arrive today or tomorrow … detail my 2002 Audi A4 Avant in Brilliant Black. I know I should have asked before ordering, but I did not think about it. Anyway … I live in Florida but could find the car I was looking for in my area. I flew up to Pennsylvania to pick up a car I found on the internet. Well they did a pretty good job of covering up any scratches with a polish/wax that had a lot of fillers, but once I clayed it I found a lot of swirling and scratches … along with a few paint touch ups. I know that Audis have a very hard paint typically so I was wondering what everyone would recommend. I will post up pictures later on today of the paint condition.

Here is what I have to work with:

Pads:

Sonus SFX – Yellow, White, and Blue

Sonus DAS – Orange

Polish:

Sonus SFX1

Sonus SFX2

Polish/ Sealant:

Klasse AIO

Sealant/Wax:

Megs NXT Tech Wax

Wax:

P21S

Detailing Mists:

Sonus – Acrylic Spritz, Detailing Spritz, and Carnuba Spritz

I have already washed and clayed the car last night and tried to use the SFX2 to see if it would take care of my problem … it did not. So I am pretty sure that I am going to have to step up to the SFX1. Please let me know what you recommend.

Thanks,

Pete

I'd reccomend SFX1-Orange followed by SFX2-White. Audi paint can be really tough without a rotary, so be prepared to put some time in and be patient. I'd go straight to P21S after polishing, but thats just my personal preferance. Some people like the look of AIO under better, but if you're going to put in the effort to put 2 coats of something on it, you might as well go for P21S X2, put on 24 hours apart.
