That does not look like factory paint. Did you get it repainted or did you buy it like that? Way too much orange peel.

thanks..

i was hoping some onme had a bit more insight on how to make my car bling bling

sure, just get some 30inch chrome wheels, snake eyes, underglow, lambo doors, and paint your interior bright colors. Of course thats for 'bling bling' which on the majority of cars looks AWFUL!

look over that some good information can be had there.

Come on guys, I am very disappointed in the replies henryjames has been given. Henry came here for help like most of us have at some point.

Henry on the plus side the car looks very clean. If it were me I would aim for reflectivity vs a carnauba that might darken the paint. I have 3 recommendations for you to consider:

1. Mother's SynWax (www.mothers.com - Most Pep Boys will also carry this)

2. Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent (www.duragloss.com)

Duragloss Total Performance Polish

3. ClearKote Red Moose Machine Glaze (Use Google Search)

Poorboy's EXP (Use Google Search)

If the paint's that dull, first of all I'd try to somehow check the paint thickness then find a way to at least do some serious paint buffing on it. Wetsanding might do a world of good, but that's a serious project that also involves some risk. Any chance you can get hold of a rotary buffer with some fairly heavy cut polish? You'd have to do some buffing with finer polish to finish it out for what I have in mind, but if the paint is as dull as it looks in the pics, then smoothing it out some would help as long as the paint can take it. After that, topping it with something that make it shine will be the easy part.
