Please answer ASAP!

My random orbital has some white smoke coming out of the vent and it's pretty warm after maybe 1/2 an hour. Is this normal or should I return it?

Got my PC 7424 for $40, if you shop around at pawnshops etc you can find hella deals everywhere. Both of my Dewalts 748 were under $70 one may say Raul and the other Garcia but since I bought two of them for less than the price of one I could care less cause it still buffs the same :buffing:
 
White smoke is not normal. Getting warm or even hot after 1/2 hour of use is normal, especially at higher speeds and pressures. Just to be clear, I am asumming that when you say 1/2 hour, that you really mean a half hour of running it for a few minutes at a time (turning off after a few minutes to add polish or change pads). Running for 1/2 hour solid without pause might be a bit stressful for some units.



My vote would be to take it back.
