I was sent from Dwayne at Four Star Products their new Tire Gel to test out. I have been using it in place of my old standard, Eiman Fabriks Tire Gel, and have been very happy with it.
A little goes along way and depending on your taste you can have a nice black sheen or layer the product for a higher gloss finish. There is no sling off, as long you don't cake the stuff on the tires.
It appears to be somewhat durable, not as durable as solvent type dressings but the results, IMHO, are far better. Plus I like the idea of applying the dressing by hand rather than spraying. You have more control and use less product if done by hand.
The nice thing is that there is no brown sludge that builds up on tires as with so many other tire dressings. If you like a nice deep black sheen to your tires, low mess, no sling off and a reasonable price then give Platinums Tire Gel a try.
Here is a pic of PTG on a Porsche tire. I will post the rest of the Porsche pics in the Professional Detailing forum.
Thanks,
Anthony
