Platinum shampoo sample

Typically it's 1 ounce of product to 1 gallon of water. Platinum wash can be somewhat harsh, just like BlackFire wash, so you might want to go a little less.

Interesting. I would have thought it might be somewhat mild, compared to others. The Platinum Paint Cleaner has been reported as being less agressive than some. I have samples of both the shampoo and the paint cleaner, but so far I'm just using the UPP and Gloss Enhancer that I bought. Great results, so far.

Platinum's QD is really good. I love it. I've got the shampoo sample myself and I haven't had a problem with it being too harsh. I'm only using a very small amount though. It definatly smells nice. :) Very much like Blackfire shampoo IMO. The bubbles don't last as long as Pinnacle's do either. Maybe that has to do with the amount that I'm using though.

ShowroomLincoln! 1 ounce of product to 1 gallon of water? Are You sure? It`s like a bottle for 3 washes? Isn`t it too much?

Any car wash liquid would be somewhat harsh if you use way too much. I use 3/4 capful per gallon for all my car washes which leaves enough suds for an average (AKA non-puterbum :D) wash. A strong steam of water helps activate the foam.

IMO, Platinum products are awfully mild. I hear they're planning on putting some of their polymers in the wash (a la Z7) to help maintain the UPP shine.

ok today I washed my car with the Platinum shampoo sample. I put 3/4 capful of the stuff with 3 gallons of water. I notice that I had to keep on spraying a jet stream of water in the bucket to make new suds. Did anyone who uses Platinum shampoo have to do the same?

Did anyone consider calling Four Star and asking what the recommended mix of shampoo and water is? They have a toll free number, (800-487-3347). Dwayne has been quite helpful when I have contacted him with any questions. Seems like they might have some suggestions.
