Do these really work? Got hit by a flying tire/rubber on the highway. It left a skid mark on the headlight assy. Will these products remove it? If not, what would you suggest?

I cant speak for if it will remove the rubber but I can say that the best product Megs makes is Plastix(sp?) I have gotten virtually everything out with it. I use it with the PC set on 6 with a green LC pad.

Acetone will remove the rubber. I use high solutioned paint thinner at work also. I work at a rubber factory. Plastix or flix works great on cleaning headlight assemply

Thanks, will check into that.

Acetone will remove the rubber, but I'd be concerned if your headlights have any type of plastic/polycarbonate coatings. Acetone will dissolve many different types of plastic so I'm not sure it would be safe if you had these types of headlights.

You might want to try an orange/d-limonene type of degreaser first and if that doesn't work then maybe consider something more aggressive.
