It's not just a matter of gloss and shine, but also protection. I never found Zaino to protect the paint from bird bombs as an example. There are tons of products out there now that surpass Z and everyone has their favorite. Allot also depends on what color you car is and keep in mind it is the prep work (polishing etc) that really amps up the shine. But to name a few: Duragloss 111 or even better 105 has the look of Z, but you get great results and protection with one coat. Collinite, Optimum, Black Fire, Sonax, Finish Kare, HD Poxy and the list goes on and on. These are all Sealants with expected life spans of 4-12 months, but there are now Coatings that last from a year or two to Opticoat Pro that should last for years. Someone like Evan can discuss with you what would work best for your situation.
 
thanks to all that replied and may reply. i am in south hills area o/s pgh. ten years ago on this forum zaino was tops. things change. car is slate metallic corolla., probably last car i will be buying. slate metallic is a dark color 2015.
