Pitted Windshields

any tips out there in Autopia Land about removing the pits in a windshield? Vehicle has a whopping 294/k and is not worth the cost of a replacement glass. I was wondering if there is any abrasive paste that can be used with a pc or rotary to use.

Nope, it won't work. Maybe replace it with a newer, slightly used windshield....

BW: thanks for the reply. I checked some other threads and the result is the same. Oh well, maybe I can find a decent replacement for smaller $$$. The thought of putting new windshield bucks on a 14 year old mini-van with that many miles is depressing.
