good morning boys! Happy new year!
have a dark blue 2008 caddy DTS. i am getting compulsive about how it looks. this morning tried the pinnacle waterless wash concentrate. dilute 1 to 32, spray on, GENTLY wipe off with a CLEAN microfiber towel. seemed to work ok

talked at GREAT length with pinnacle. he said a car wash that touches the car might put swirls in the clearcoat. a touchless wash will not get it clean, and still may have harsh chemicals that remove my pinnacle wax.

if the car is quite dirty, he said to go to a do it yourself spray wash, just use WATER, then go home and use this wash. my car was pretty clean, so i just did this wash. seemed to work great, i used LOTS of clean towels. car was dirty at the bottom, just like you expect.

1. anyone else try this car wash?
2. do you like it?
3. will it hurt my car?

thanks guys!

I always power wash before doing a RW or a WW. Never used Pinnacle WW but have used Blackfire and Ultima +. Much prefer the Ultima WW+ due to its superior cleaning ability.

I'm very interested in which mfg MF's you used:

1. Cobras, Chemical Guys, Rag Co, Pakshak...

2. What % blend where they (80-20/70-30/75-25) and what g/m2 weight are they (350, 530, 600, 800 etc...)

I'm looking to buy 6-12 of them for waterless washes and been reading a lot of forums but can't seem to decide on a preferred MF. Size, blend, weight and design are important to me but cost is not an issue. Thanks for any input.

I have used it, I take my car to the local car wash and use the wand in the winter to get the heavy stuff off. Then bring it home to my heated garage and use that on the car. It always comes out great.

That's Rinseless. OP referred to Waterless, but same rules, basically, apply.

The coin-operated high-pressure rinse then home for Waterless Wash is a great combo. Also, you can take some wheel cleaner to the coin-op and give those a good wash there. Will it hurt your car? With all the great products out there, it comes down to your technique. Bad technique will leave towel marks, and at worst, scratching. Even when I'm super careful, using my best stuff, I still occasionally get towel marks on my soft paint, so it can be a frustrating game. I've simply decided that the occasional fine line, generally only visible under LED light by me, is the trade off for stunningly clean and glossy paint without dragging out two buckets and the hose.

thanks guys! will try today! coin operated wash, then home to heated garage for pinnacle wash. will be careful and use clean towels. have a great day guys!

Depending on your local water, the distance, the amount of sun out, and the color of your car - you may get water spots if your drive the car home after pressure washing it to waterless wash it.

I use this method almost exclusively to wash my cars, so I have some experience with it. The water spots will likely be easy to remove, but may leave shallow shadows visible in the correct light.

I'd recommend finding a Pay-N-Spray with little to no wash bay traffic and doing the waterless wash right there. Go at an off hour.
