I dont have a garage, and my two trucks, 85 red chev and 01 white Ford, are covered in sap spots. I am stuck with this house so it will always be this way. I guess I should get car covers??

Anyway, tried soaps, Tarminator, rubbing alcohol, cant get the stuff off without getting it cold and scratching it off.

What to use? Thanks.

You will need about 50 cans of 3M Adhesive Remover, at least thats what I needed.

Sap is a biotch to get off.

Clay doesn't work? Or are you saying it's still too gooey? You might try a chemical paint cleaner like Deep Crystal #1, just as an example of one that's available OTC.

3M wax and adhesive remover will work fine, wet the end of a terrycloth towel, put on the spot and let soak for a second or two. You can also use a plastic razor blade to help.

I've tried many things, goo gone, turtlewax bug and sap remover among other things on pine sap and the most effective thing I found was gas.

This may sound a bit nuts, but I ended up using some WD-40 on some sap spots and it worked very well. Just be sure to re-seal after you use it.
