...Dreaming on an E92....
Hey everyone! I finally got around to uploading pics of my new-to-me daily driver, a 92 Saturn SL1. I did an almost complete exterior detail on Saturday, let me know what you think! Also, I'm not the best pic taker either, so yeah...

Process:
Gold Class Wash
Simple Green 50/50 water on wheels/tires/fenderwells
Clay (previous weekend)
GC Wash
Megs QD
P&S Products Ultracoat Polish via Rotary @ 3,500 and up to 5,000 ion the deck lid
Megs QD
P&S Carnauba Creme Wax
AIO on window trim and all smooth esxterior black plastic
GC Wash
Megs QD
Stoners IG on all glass surfaces

Well, whadaya think for a first time rotary detail? :D

The back bumper isn't in the best shape, so don't judge it by that LOL

Clay isn't there since I threw it out, and believe it or not I ran out of tire shine, can you believe it? :crazy

I accomplished his all without any burns or swirl marks, I'm extremely impressed with my work!

And here's some pics of my father's 03 victory Vegas all cleaned up. I detailed it about 3 weeks ago, but just now got pics

Process:
GC Wash
Clay
GC Wash
3M Fine Cut
AIO
Ultracoat Polish
Carnauba Creme Wax
Blue Magic/mothers on all aluminum and chrome

I did a quick wipe down with Megs QD before the pics. Let me know wht you think!

Good looking work you do there... That bike i'm drooling over right now. That color really pops.

I'd like to have me a raked out chopper but there are way to many elderly drivers down here in florida that don't pay full attention to the road half the time.

anyone that uses P&S is ok with me . nice work. that ultracoat polish is good stuff . check out my stash

Those are some crazy revs on your rotary. I ususally stay near 1500 for rotary work. Did you have any problems with rapid polish breakdown? It seems that 3500-5000 would create a lot more heat than a regular polish would take. Other than that it turned out great, nice clarity of finish. I like the door shot, very wet and mirrorlike.

Nice work we should really get together soon I have another DC memeber that is coming up from the east bay so that I can work on his Vette......That might be a good time for us to work together....BIGRON...I was the one that turnerd Dolan on to P&S we have a big local supplier here....I don't talk to much about them here as they are not a sponsor.....They do have some products that I have not found anywhere else that are about as good as it gets.

Did I read right...3500-5000rpm?!?!?
Well I wasn't quite sure where I should of started at, so I thought it was a good base point. The UCP isn't a really abrasive polish, so I figured it would work. I'm not surw which pads he had either, he just gave me what he "thought" was his light cutting pad, and I went to town with it. I'm happy with the results though.

Dave, now that I've got a new DD, I'll make sure we get together sometime! I need to do the interior next, so just shoot me an email and let me know the date!

Edit: Noslo50, I'm located in Sonoma County
