PIC'S-My SVT...detail started last weekend

'02 SVT Focus (195,000Km) with F2 wide body kit (RS look-a-like), RS Focus 18" rims (O.Z. Racing), and a million other small mods...
Colour is 'Sonic Blue'...basically blue metallic pearl
Pictures taken with a $129, 6MP HP digicam...

Clayed it the weekend prior to last, so I started out with Meg's conditioning soap (LOVE this stuff!), PC'ed the rough spots and horizontal surfaces with some Scratch-X (don't work this stuff too hard!), followed up with SSR2.5 then SSR1...
My current sealant of choice is BlackFire...very easy on and off, layerable after 8 hrs, and decent durability. Produces a nice, wet look on dark colours...

These pic's are just after the LSP, so the Blackfire didn't have any cure time to it...
I've since added a second coat of the sealant, and started the BF Ivory Carnumba layers...

Great job, paint really looks wet. Black fire has been my choice of sealants lately as well. Apply it let it sit for a bit and you baerely need any pressure at all to take it off.
 
Was able to get out and add a layer of wax to 'er today...

Continued excellence...man that blue is bright...I like it, its a nice chnage from the dark blue I see every day.
 
I think it's one of the nicest blues on the road, personally...
