I am going to wash my white Acura Integra today since it needs a wash to get all the road grime and salt off it. It is going to be a quick detail so I will be using the following:

1) Wash w/ Megs Gold Class + dry w/ waffle weave

2) Clean tires and wheels I will apply some Klasse AIO to the wheels

3) Dress wheels w/ Insane Shine from Megs

4) Dress trim w/ Poorboys trim restorer

5) Wax the paint w/ some Long Haul Truck Polish/Wax

What do you think about the new Long Haul Truck Polish/wax? Should I use some NXT Paste instead or possibly even some Nattys Blue?

Thanks~!

I would at least clay the paint before you apply your wax. I don't know about the long haul products, but If you have anything durable, use it. It isn't often you get a wintertime lull so with this oppurtunity that you have now, get something that will last a while on the car.

I'm not a huge fan of Long Haul Polish/Wax, I found it harder to use than other cleaner waxes, but your process looks fine, and even if you do decide to use Long Haul, topping with Natty's blue should make your Teg look great.

I clayed my paint about 2 months ago so I will probably apply some Klasse AIO and some SG finally top it w/ some Nattys blue..

2 months is plenty of time for contaminents to bond to the paint. if anything, run the plastic baggy finger test and spot clay if necessary.

well hell, if you've got some SG laying around, just start layering that. For the wintertime, I'd leave it untopped so that on the next above freezing day you can throw on another layer.

Ok cool, I will pick up some clay tomorrow and clay my paint again then I will wash, Klasse AIO and do SG X 3 (curing 12 hours each layer) and finally top w. some Nattys Blue.. Hows that sound?
